About

Trevor spent the first three decades of his life as a proverbial fish out of water. He’d always felt different, out of place, and something of an outsider. As such, he navigated his world as a quiet observer, absorbing his environment. This is what drove his early creative outlets. When Trevor was in his early twenties, his father, Phil, tragically passed away from cancer; a loss that turned his world on its head, and set off a chain reaction that resulted in a period of poor mental heath, and impulsive, often self-destructive behaviour. In his early thirties, he learned he had ADHD and a mild form of autism. This news was a major turning point that allowed Trevor, for the first time, to begin to make sense of his world.

His early experiences have shaped and informed his creativity. As he puts it, he’s “obsessed with the intricacies of the human condition; what drives peoples’ choices and their relationships with themselves, each other, and their worlds”.

As a screenwriter, Trevor’s first love is characters, particularly flawed protagonists in pain, who are given a chance of redemption through their actions and relationships. “Everyone is in pain, in one form or another. What fascinates me is peoples’ vastly different, yet somehow similar, responses to this”.

Trevor creates rich, down to earth worlds, filled with grounded honesty and complex relationships. His work is largely dramatic, with bittersweet and often dark humour at its core.

Trevor’s first venture into filmmaking came in early 2026, with his self-funded and self-produced short, ‘Negligible Impact’. You can learn more about this in the Projects section of this site.

Trevor currently resides in Bedfordshire with his wife, Sara, and his sphynx cat, Sam.
